Top of the Ballot

Ballot positions are set for the November 3 special election, and our name was drawn first. When your ballot arrives in early October, Alfredo Reyes is the first name you’ll see for City Council At-Large, which means you don’t have to look very far. Fill in that first oval.

Position on the ballot is drawn by lot. Call it luck, call it prayer, call it the ancestors, we accept it with gratitude. Then do us one better: vote early. The moment your ballot arrives, fill it out and get it to a drop box. An early vote is a banked vote, and it frees us up to knock on the doors of neighbors who haven’t voted yet.
