The Road Starts Here

I just filed to run for Denver City Council. But a filing is only a piece of paper. What comes next is the real work and I want to be honest with you about it from the start.

This won’t be quick, and it won’t be easy. The road to this seat is longer than a single day on a calendar, and the version of this campaign that wins isn’t the loudest one. It’s the one with the most neighbors walking beside it. That’s the campaign I intend to build: block by block, porch by porch, conversation by conversation.

There will be stretches where I’ll need you to move fast with me. A summer where signatures, support, and showing our strength all arrive at once. I’ll ask a lot in those moments. I’ll ask because I believe this city is worth it: a Denver that works for the people who keep it running, not just the people who can afford the view.

I didn’t come up through money or connections. I came up through this city. The westside that raised me, the neighbors who taught me, the work that proved what’s possible. The road ahead runs right back through those same blocks. I’d be honored to walk it with you. Juntos. Together.
